Some wedding days just stick with you, and this beautiful elopement in London was definitely one of them. The couple wanted something truly special—an intimate celebration with their closest family, who flew in from the US, Canada, and traveled from across the UK.
And while London in winter can be a little unpredictable weather-wise, the city showed up for them. It was chilly, no doubt—you could see little puffs of breath in the air—but the sun? It shone all day long, casting this dreamy golden glow over every moment.
The couple wanted their photos to capture all the most famous London landmarks—a way to hold onto the city that once felt like home. Now living in the US, they wanted every shot to be a reminder of the places that made their time in London so special. From the iconic London Eye to the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral and the bustling streets around Bank, each location became part of their story, beautifully tying the past to their new chapter.
The first look
Our first stop was at a hotel in Blackfriars, where we started off with the first look and family photos.

The City of London
The day was followed by a stop at the City of London, where we covered more family photos and continued on with couple's photoshoot around St Paul's cathedral and Reflection Garden. Both of these spots offer plenty of space for family and friends to gather while surrounded by timeless London scenery. With so many hidden gems surrounding this area, there is plenty to choose from for a variety of moments to be captured in the heart of London.

The London Eye
Their elopement took place at the end of November, and London definitely didn’t hold back on the winter chill. It was extremely cold—the kind of cold that makes you pull your coat tighter and wish for endless cups of tea. But this couple? They absolutely persevered. Wrapped in love, they embraced every moment, never letting the crisp air dull their excitement. The sun was kind enough to make an appearance throughout the day, casting a golden glow over the city and making every shiver worth it.

Our next stop was the River Thames, with the iconic London Eye standing tall in all its glory. It’s the perfect London backdrop—instantly recognizable and effortlessly timeless.

The Palace of Wesminster
What is more iconic than the Big Ben and Palace of Westminster? Everyone wants to have a photo with the Big Ben in the background when visiting London, hence it was quite a busy place to get some precious moments for this couple at 3 o'clock in the afternoon! But people were extremely nice and we were able to get some iconic photos with the timeless architecture in the background. I couldn't contain my happiness how beautiful the light was shining at the time!

Chasing Golden Hour
How lucky one has to be to have beautiful sun at the end of November in London AND also get mesmerising golden hour? Dina and Hazem were! Golden hour in winter times feels almost etheral. Winter''s golden hour stretches gently, wrapping everything in warmth - even on the chilliest days! It’s the kind of light that makes every moment feel a little more intimate, a little more timeless. As we were getting a cab to London Paddington station, we saw this little street in Kensington that casted a beautiful golden hour that we couldn't miss!

Paddington Train Station
Our final stop was Paddington Station, a place that holds a special spot in the couple’s hearts. To wrap up the day, we experimented with some slow shutter speed shots, capturing the beautiful contrast of blurry, moving people around the couple, highlighting their stillness and love in the midst of the bustling station. It was a perfect, unique way to end their memorable day in London.
